End of Year Attainment and Progress
PUPIL ATTAINMENT JULY 2019
For smaller schools, reports of attainment are affected more by the make-up of a cohort as each child is 'worth' a larger percentage figure. Figures should therefore be read with an understanding of this.

SUMMARY
This is the last cohort who will have progress measured against levels achieved in Year Two (as future cohorts were assessed post levels).
- Expected+ in Reading, Writing and Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling demonstrates GOOD PROGRESS
- We expected 17% at greater depth in all areas – so that’s one extra child above in Maths – this is pleasing as getter prior higher attaining children to greater depth in Maths has been an an area for development for the school in the past
- In Maths, two children we anticipated reaching expected, scored 99 each (the overall figure would have been 61% if they had scored 1 point more)

DISADVANTAGED PUPILS
We are also challenged as a school to deliver the same outcomes for disadvantaged pupils, compared to their peers. We are an inclusive school and work hard at supporting all pupils. A review of progress during 2016-2017 shows our disadvantaged pupils make similar progress to their peers and this is also really encouraging.
